Community building
I want to build a community for queer and allied people who want to grow together – in health, creativity and self-determination.
We use my online business as a practical tool in the background, but what really matters is the community, conversations and support between people.
My community should be a place where queer identity, personal development and community building can coexist without performance pressure.
We gather around values such as safety, autonomy and mutual support.
Our online biz is one of the tools we use to enable sustainability – but the community always comes first, the business second.
There is no requirement to sell, perform or fit in here.
You are welcome for who you are – not for what you produce.
Think of the community as a queer living room.
Our online biz is the electricity bill that keeps the lights on – but we are the ones who create the heat.
We build communities for queer people – we adapt the tools to suit your needs, not the other way around.
The group I belong to is called APG Awakening Prosperity Group.
