Welcome, everyone, to today's weekly activation call. I am so excited about where we're headed with the community, with the 90-day run.
And so I thought it would be a really good opportunity to switch up our calls and make them… a lot more… related to where we're headed. So…this week we're talking about a lot of different things. There has been a variety of… Uh, like, we're only on… we've only done 2 days, right? And already they… I can feel the power changing in the communities, so…
That excites me a little bit. And… so, I guess today, I want to talk a little bit about, um, realigning where you're at, rising above it, and remembering how powerful you really are on the inside, because everything we want, we desire is already with us, we know that. It's just a matter of bringing that out, and…when we are ready to receive all of that, then there's a lot more that goes on.
And as we move forward. So, I guess, um, one question is…
What are you holding onto that no longer serves you? In relation to where you're headed as this CEO of Wealth. Um, because we really want to be stepping up into that, and this is probably not a very soft 90-day plan. It's going to be quite raw and real, because I want you guys to make it. I want you guys to get that. I want you all to achieve the goals that you're looking to achieve, and not still be sitting here this time next year saying what happened, you know? Or, I didn't have time, or… you know… whatever the reason is. Reason/excuse, is. So, what do you think you're holding onto?
Ruth, thank you for being here, you're the only one here, so that… you're the only one I can be having this interactive conversation with. So, thank you again for being here. I'm so grateful you always show up.
So what do you think you're holding onto, and what… what's that… the weight of that… that is… blocking you and stopping you from moving forward.
Various things. Uh, one of them could be that, um, I think…mm-hmm that it's too late, given my age, to start again and to actually create an amazing financially free life for me.
Mmm, says the young 60-year-old to the older 68-nilly year old.
Yes, it's… But, um…yeah, because… and I guess also the amount of the length of… the amount of years that I've been struggling. And now, all of a sudden I think… whenever I think, oh, I can do this because everyone else has done it, but then there's something that holds me back and say, who am I to do it? What do I know?
Hmm.
Do you know, so it's probably where do you think that comes from, then? Like, that… that's… We've had many conversations, like, you know, one-on-one conversations around this, so…where do you think that's still coming from? Because obviously it goes a lot deeper than what you think.
Yeah.
You know, we… when we have these breakthroughs, what we're doing.
Yes, yes is where… tapping down into the layers, and that layer obviously goes a lot deeper than what you.
Yeah. Yes.You thought, and so we… It's important that we continue to do that work you know, each day to… or each time that thought or that belief comes up, so that you can, um, remove it.
Right? And it does take time. So, when I say that… Hi, Diane, I'm not ignoring you. Um, so when that does come up. And it's still coming up. Where are you up to in that line, I guess, of… that belief. I think I'm just before… Because in my head, I know, but there's just one switch that I need to be able to to flake before it… before I step into that… bold and confident belief that I can actually do it, and I… have done it in the past.
They have. Mm, you absolutely have.
And that I can do it again. Because I'm… yeah, I have lots to show that I've done it, so, you know, I don't and it's just this thing that… pulls me back.
Yeah, okay, sorry, I just don't want to lose that, because… if you've got lots to show that you've already achieved great things already.
Tell me where that is in your life, like, how far back is that?
Only a few years back. But, but, no, no, no.
It's sprinkled throughout. It's sprinkled throughout.
I just… don't… recognise them as such.
Okay, so if it's sprinkled all the way through your life, when was the most recent time that you have proof, visible proof, like, you can see that the results that you achieved.
Uh, probably… as recent as finishing my mental health studies. I'm still waiting for the.
When was the last time you had that?
You know, and that's… that's… that's a couple of weeks ago.
Yeah, that's very recent.
Yeah, and then other things would be another big thing would be… November last year where I've created that white ribbon day event, which was the second day of… second year running.
And this year, I'm doing it again.
Okay, so let me… let me… Let me… yeah, you are. Let me just stop you there for a second. So, the White Ribbon event, is that an event that is for you, or is that a community event for your community?
And I'm specifically asking that question for reasons. So, think about.
Well, it's a community event. Yeah.
It's a community event, but it's also for me, because I am… it's something that I stand for and do you know, it's just that because I'm involving the community, I obviously can't do it on my own, but I am… I am organising, and…Yeah, yeah.
Hmm. Yeah, which is fantastic.
And facilitating and everything, so…
Yeah. So, is your business part of this? Community that you're, like, this event is… how is your business related to that, or is this completely separate?
It's not separate, because I… I'm doing it as a coach and a person that keeps back, and I know women's empowerment advocate, which is part of my business.
This is part of your coaching business, yeah? Yeah, okay, yep.
Which is that I want to help. Yeah. What?
Okay, now this is good, because I want to… I want to… I just want bare details to get.
So…To the root of this for you. So, that was last year, that was very successful.
I know we've had conversations around that. Um, when you… was that the first year that you did it?
Second.
Second. So, the first year that you did that it must have been successful, or you wouldn't have thought it was worth your time to go in a second time, which is great.
So the first time that you did this, was this, like, um… Did you think… I'm not going to be able to do this? Not at all?
Throughout that… you never thought that. Okay.
What was going on in your life at that time?
So that you just thought, I've got this. Like, what was the energy around your life right at that moment?
And that's something, perhaps, to work on over the next few days.
Yeah. I think the energy around that… that is that I'm confident, and I am a leader, and I can… I am able to do things like that, because I have run many events in the past, and there were successful. And why wouldn't… why wouldn't it be successful again?
Hmm, so that's the energy you need to step into. That's your power, right? You know that you can do that. You know you do that really well. You know that you are really successful at that. So, what's the difference between running an event and doing an online video?
What's the difference between raising funds for that community or that benefit.
Nothing.
No difference.
And raising money for you. So, why is there a difference? What is the weight between those two things that…
Because… Yes, I think it's…
Have got to unhook.
Too, because when I'm… when I'm doing this community event, the spotlight is on me, but it's not on me.
Um, because I'm not asking for remuneration, as in a monetary remuneration.
Yet, when it is with… my business…In the back of my mind, the end goal is… to have monetary remuneration.
I think I've just discovered the answer is to… That it is to take away that goal of the monetary. remuneration, because it will flow, because I'm serving, so the… default goal or default, result would be that. There is the money flowing in.
And, you know, when I think back at what Michelle says, it's always about serving. How can I help the other person?
And I was just going to say to you, when you're doing this community work, it's about raising funds for a third party.Yes.
And so it doesn't really touch you as such. Right? So what I'm thinking is that…
Yes.
The energy that you're putting out there to create… oh, Diane's back.
Diane, just let me know, can you see, hear us?You'll have to unmute to answer.
I can see… no, I can't see her, that's right, yes
I'll tell you what was happening, Donna. I was trying to get you on my iPad, and I couldn't, and I couldn't, and so I got you on my… I got you on my phone, and now I finally got it to come up on the iPad. Every time I push.Join, it would take me to the 9 a.m. Zoom this morning, but I finally got it figured out, so… so now I can see on my iPad. I'm just listening to learn.
Oh, okay, Uh, you were actually on your iPad. It was… it showed up. I… I entered you into the room, so it was all fine.
Yeah,
It's what it would say on my iPad, but I finally figured out I had to press leave that meeting, and then press join to join your meeting.
Oh, I see. You mean, like… Celine's call.
It was on the wrong call. And I finally got cleared up. You know, I'm slow, Donna. I'm slow, but… It takes me a while to get there, but I'm listening to see what I can learn from this. I don't really have any questions.
No, no, no, no, that's absolutely fine.
Oh, that's right, it's your turn next. That's your turn next!
I'm just wanting to listen. Okay.
Alright, so Ruth, um… Thank you, thanks for being here too, Diane. I appreciate you.
Y'all go ahead. Yes.
Yeah, absolutely. Um, so Ruth, what I'm thinking is that it is a third party. The whole idea of this is to get people to the event, right? Is to attract.
I learned from… from listening.
People to the event. And whatever you provide at that event is why they're there.
So, like you say. When we're doing, when we're looking at these businesses that we run, all of them, however many we have when we're looking at these businesses that we run the energy that we're putting out there is what's coming back. So if nothing's coming back, it is a… it's something to do with what you're… what the fear is around… not good enough, or, you know, people… what people think, whatever. Whereas when we're just getting in and doing them passing on the information from a different energy that is more… about gratitude, it's more about helping other people, it's more about educating. Because the money will flow. As you well know, the money will flow.
Once we serve people with the information. Rather than… and the education. Like, my videos on TikTok are very different. Like, I don't always talk about business stuff.
Sometimes I'll throw in a video that talks about how to build your profile on TikTok, because I get up from one of the other creators. And I share that, because I don't know if they're all going to be… listening to that creator, that sharing, or whether…It's my page that they're seeing.
That's right, yes.
So. You know, sometimes it's about helping them with the platform. Sometimes it's just about helping them with their mindset. Sometimes it's about inviting them to join my community. Sometimes it's about inviting them to join a business.
Uh, sometimes it's just… like… because…
The money will just come from whatever happens with that. You know, and at the moment, I'm also working on LinkedIn, using the training that Christine does.
I think…
And I'm getting leads from LinkedIn now, which I've never done before, because, I mean, I don't even have 200 people on my LinkedIn page, so… Do you know what I'm saying? It's, like, we just have to be open
Yeah.Yes. I think it's about me not putting them into different, um… what I'm doing outside for this event now.
It's, um, not… it's about integrating it into everything that I do.
Yeah, because there's… they're not different. They're not different, yeah.
Rather than having him a stand-alone things. Because… when I… pardon?
Because they're not different. They're the same.
They're not, no. And, um… like, the last two, the first two events, I…
I didn't even give a proper bio of myself, because… I was there on behalf of the church.
Whereas this year, I've got someone who actually reached out to me who wanted to collaborate with me, who is from the Shire. I think I've mentioned that to you. Now, she's also going to be part of that, introducing the speakers and all that kind of thing. So this year, I am going to get her to read my bio.
Yeah, right, because she'll be the MC of the event, right?
Yeah, so I'm… So we're going to be sharing the MC events, whereas previously it was just me. Now.
First two events, I couldn't really ask someone then to tell me who I am, or I wasn't going to stand there and say.Yeah.
This is what I do outside of the church, so I was a part of the church, and I still will be, but this year I'm going to make a different focus on that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, the intention is different, yeah? Hmm, perfect!
Um, because I didn't want to… Yes, yeah.
So that people know what I do, and they can reach out to me if they need some, because it's all… it's integrated, right? I can help lots of people.
Yeah. So, what I would say is, um, because I know that you have to go, um.rather than just… No.
What I would say is over the next week, I want you to really work on bringing those… bringing that energy together. Um, not together. We don't want a mixed energy. Bring the energy into the… the business, the online stuff.
Yes. Yes.
So, bringing that together, working with that so that you then have the power back, and… that you will then have the information to try… not to try. You will have the information to incorporate that. Yeah.
Yes, that's right. And I think… That's… I feel… I feel okay about making that decision. Because it's about me stepping up into that spot again. Um, and, you know, I'm going to be reaching out for people to sponsor, and I will put my name up as a sponsor.
Yeah.
Hmm, hmm, absolutely. Yeah, because you want… yeah.
Because… Yes.
And it's interesting because, um, this last week has been very interesting for me. Somebody that I did an interview with probably 5 or 6 years ago, reached out to me and asked me to speak at some event. He's in the UK, and I said, the times don't really work for me.
And he said, that's alright, we can do a pre-recorded. So, what am I going to do? I'm going to offer my community.
Okay. Yes, yeah, yeah.
And I'm… yeah, and I'm… I'm…
So, you know… That, for me, is going to be more about, um, getting more connections. Now.
You know, these… and somebody else asked me to speak as well. And I haven't even… you know me, I have not focused on speaking for, what, 3, 4 years now?
Yeah, perfect. Because they'll see you, you're everywhere, yeah.
I just haven't, because it's not… Yeah, it's… I mean, I do this, and this is speaking, and this is presenting.
However, it's, uh, these are actually speaking events. And I'm like…Uh, you know, I didn't really want to go back there.
It is, yeah, it is. But at the same time, like. Let's work with that.
Yeah, that's right, if the opportunity arises, it's meant to happen.
You know, because we have to be open. To receive more, and to receive more includes sometimes things that.
We may not necessarily 100% enjoy doing, but it is another leg of our business, so why would we not choose that?
And you're in the business of speaking and presenting anyway, because you're online.
Oh, exactly. Yeah.
Yeah, for a while, I've taken my… in my, you know, the email signatures and stuff like that, I've taken the word speaker out, but I think, why?
Yeah, exactly.
Because when I'm presenting, I am a speaker. When, you know, it's… it's… It is, and I've done that in the past, because I have presented. I've got so many videos when I go back and look. And with the Inspired Woman TV, where I interviewed people. What does that mean?
Yeah, exactly. And I just put mental… mentor and friend in my signature on my emails, because that's what I want people to know, like, and trust me, and the way that we do that is create a friendly.
Yes. Yes.
Uh, rather than a line between. And, yes, we still need to have a line between leader and student.
Um, so to speak. And at the same time, I then have to step up into the student role to learn more, to bring it back to who I'm working with. So… you know, yeah, exactly. That's how it works.
This is great, thank you, and it is so important to jump on a call and speak through things like that, or talk through it, rather than just watching a recording, right? So, thank you so much for that, Donna.
Yeah. You're welcome, and this is how I want our calls to go all the time now. I want to incorporate this.
Yeah. Thank you!
A little bit more into really getting some issues resolved for the community members, so… So that's awesome. Thank you, Ruth, for being here. Thank you for sharing. I really appreciate you, and I know you've got to run, so enjoy the rest of your day. Celine's got a call at 10 o'clock, by the way.
Thank you.
But, uh, so, you know, if you want to jump on that, you can jump on that. I know… I don't know where you're up to this week, because I haven't spoken to you in the last days, but enjoy, maybe we'll see you there, maybe we'll… And tomorrow, she's got a TikTok expert on, as well, about attracting your ideal customers.
Thank you, bye-bye.
She had one on last week that was different to this one, so… Um, it was recorded, she may not have put it up yet, I'm not sure. So, what I would say is go into her calendar, I think…
Oh, okay, all right. Because I was listening to one of her recordings here the other day when I was driving.
Diane! because we were right in the depth of it when you jumped on the call. So what it was, was…
Um, what is the… oh, weight that you're carrying with you that's stopping you from… and you would have picked up on some of the things that probably related to you as well, a bit?
So, um, when we… when we're really wanting to activate. And realign, and rise above all the old stuff.
You can stop guarding first. Yes
We want to look at what it is that… that is… you're holding onto, and I know that we have to go deep, and we probably won't have time to do it all today.
So, what do you think that dead weight is that you're holding onto there?
Right.
I think a lot of it is the guilt of having gone through the.
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Money, my husband left me, and trust some people I should not have trusted, but I thought I could trust them, and honestly, it's like I'm a… I prayed to make the money, because I'm afraid I'll mismanage it again. And… I think that… I think that's a big, big thing with me.
Uh-huh, yes!
And I've been going through so much trying to get my brick-and-mortar store sold
And it seems like every day I've just… been weighted down with that, because they're not wanting to pay the value of it, and then they wanted me to do what is called owner financing, which would be fine, because in doing that, I would actually probably.
Oh.
Make the amount of money that I've asked for it, but I won't be here to know it, and my children at their ages won't be here to know it, because it's going to take so many years for them to.
To pay that, to avoid putting me… There's something about that I cannot… What did you wear? Make over $90,000 a year, or it will mess up my Medicare.
And I can't… you know, I keep thinking, okay, if I'm making really good money.
If you messed up my Medicare, I should still be able to pay my hospital bills.
Who cares? You can pay for any medical! Exactly!
Indoctor Vegas. And so, it's you know, it's just been a big thing, and I finally… it dawned on me that there was this realtor that goes to my church.
And go private rather than public.
And so, I contacted him, and he said. I will look into what properties in the area.
Uh, you know, that are like mine have sold for. I will try to find out.
And help you know what… It's a good class to ask them for. And then he sent me a.
A thing that shows all the legal work that I have to be sure that they sign, because my accountant.
Yeah.
Tell me about this, too, and she said, but you've got to be very careful, because she had a client.
Who did that, but did not do all the in-depth paperwork? And so, when the people buying her home decided to just pay it off.
Uh, yeah, okay, yeah, yeah. So there's a loophole within that documentation that you have to be very aware of, so you have to have a really good legal team.
She didn't get any interest. She just got the amount that she had…
Yes, and so she said, you've got to make sure.
Yes. And see, I lost my good attorney.
Let's come back to… Yeah.
I had a very good real estate attorney, and he retired because his daughter has a brain tumor, and he has to take her to Duke, and I understand that. And he can't help me
Yeah. Hmm…
Well, can he refer somebody? Does he… can he give you two or three names… two names that you can at least talk to?
And so, I don't really know who to hire. That would do as good a job as him.
Yes. Yes. Because he would only give you names of people that he would think would do the right thing, right? He's not… I don't know if they're… over here, I don't know if they can actually, like, refer as such, or whether they can just offer a couple of names, and they're only going to offer people that they trust.
So, um, I would be asking that question. Um, perhaps around that.
Right. Yes, I'm gonna try to reach out to him and see if I can get him and to answer that for me.
Yeah, do you have anybody that you can, um, anybody's… Uh, that you can refer or pass on the information to me, so I can call them.
But let's get back to this mismanage, because I think you've absolutely hit the nail on the head there.
I think I have finally figured it out.
And I think that… absolutely. So… What I would say is…That around that mismanagement, we're looking at, um… We're looking at, perhaps, a little bit more around…
Um… I think as… and from my experience with you and working with you, because I know we've become quite close, and, you know, we've got a lot that we've done.
I think there's a fear of missing out as well. Like, you think that if you don't jump in and do something, that you're going to miss out on an opportunity. And yes.
That happens, right? That definitely happens. And, however.
The… Think about that is, again, about managing the money to do the right thing at the right time. That works for you. And having conversations rather than just diving in. What do you like to do for fun?
Right. After what we do, we fill the block.
Uh, and, and, you know. Our recent conversation has been around that. Talk to me. Like, please talk to me. Just get the information, find out if it's right for you.
And…then we look at how we can make this happen for you. So, my other thing would be around that is how far back do you go.
Now, is it for you since your husband passed? Please?
Yes, he passed in May of 2021. And he left me in good shape.
My problem is, uh, he had a good mind up until, you know, right towards the end, and I deeply regret.
Because he has always handled our business. I regret that I did not ask him to explain to me a lot of things about business.
Because he, he, he was very good. He was very good at managing and doing the right thing. And then, see, my daughter and a friend of hers thought they could open that store.
Yeah, yeah. Well, they mismanaged some of the money I gave them to do that with. And so I had applied for a home equity mortgage, but the more I learned about it, and my realtor and my accountant both said. Absolutely, do not do that, because you're putting your home at risk, and if you couldn't trust them with the amount you've already given them, don't do that.
The deeper you were going.
Yeah, exactly.
Well, that home equity man will not leave me alone. He calls me.
Mmm…
Every day. Pushing me!
Oh! All right, so let's… let's, let's come back. Let's come back to this fear of managing… mismanaging the funds, so…Four years ago, your husband, uh, passed away, and, you know, for anyone in this community, we know.
That my dad passed away in July 2021, and. We know that, you know we need to support each other through that, because it can still come up and hit you at the drop of a hat without realizing.
And that may well happen once you get off this call, Diane. You may feel some things over the next week. Please reach out to me if there's anything I can do to help you with that. But… What I would say is the fear of mismanagement. So, you had the money there, there's a cycle.
So you, uh, mismanaged some funds, you gave some to your daughter who mismanaged some funds.
Yes.
Like, do you see what I'm saying? There's a cycle. Within that, there's around the mindset. So, before that happened, um…Is there a time that you can recall. Having, uh…having funds to invest during your marriage where. There was no question.
I think there's no question around whether you could do it or not.
I never did invest or do anything like that. Uh, Steve… Steve took care of all the business, and. Uh, when I went back to teaching. Full-time after I had my second child I told him, I said, you know, I'm working out too, so I will pay I'll buy the groceries, and I'll pay my own medical, and I'll pay the phone bill, because I get on the phone more than you ever do, and see. Steve was, like, almost 13 years older than me. And actually, he was the first principal that I taught for. It's really funny how it all came about, you know, because.
Yeah. So… I do… yeah.Yeah, and back in that era was very much about, you know, often it was the man that took care of the finances.
So, okay, so you weren't investing online or doing anything like that, and… For the community members here, I just want to say that.I had never even been online.
Diane is 80. Right? 80?
And, you know, she is amazing at… Learning.
Yes.
Yeah. Just run,
And… Finding different ways to help her be financially free because of the last 4 years. So.
What I would say is, um… the mismanagement part, I just want you, over the next week, I really want you to think about that, and I want you to…see, and even write a list of where you spent money that has been a good thing.
So, I leave…
And where you've spent money. That hasn't necessarily worked out.
And what it was… that, uh, didn't…
Didn't work out for you? Like, what… what you think those reasons were for each one. So, say, for instance, you say the digital marketing, right? And then you, um…And say, yes, it's worked out for you, because you've learned a lot of information, you're learning how to promote, you've connected with a lot of people you would never otherwise have connected with.
So, regardless of whether you've made a sale or not, there's a lot of benefit there.
Right.
Yes? So, then, uh, you know, anything else that you've joined, and you don't feel like it's worked? I want you… We have to be brutally honest, because we are stepping into the CEO of it sometimes feels like…
Correct.
Right? We are activating that. And so I want you to be brutally honest. Something else that you've done that didn't work out. I want you to ask yourself these questions.
Why did it not work out? I want you to put the raisins down.
Okay.
Uh, what did I do or did not do? To contribute to that. Uh, why… Why did I joined they continue to funnel in. When they're allergic to sleep, extending coverage. Or did I just join because I had this fear that it was an opportunity I would miss out on if I didn't?
So all of those questions, and you might find more questions come up with that. The most realistic Christmas trees. And I can tell you exactly why I joined. At the time.
That I joined when I was staying at my son's home, because I'd just gotten out of the hospital, and.
My house had had a water leak. And it was under restoration, and they had torn out my bathroom on my main floor Much before, and that, I think, is what caused me to go non-responsive.
Hmm.
Having to go up and down the stairs to the third floor bathroom all day, and I went up one Sunday night. On Mother's Day, and I thought, oh no, I didn't take my insulin, but I cannot get back downstairs. And back up the stairs, I just don't have the strength. So I went on to sleep. The next thing I know, I wake up. And it's not Monday morning, it's Wednesday afternoon, and I'm in the hospital.
And I don't remember a thing for those 3 days. But my daughter told me that when she found me non-responsive on Monday morning and called the EMS.
That I told them exactly how to do to get me down the stairs and to the gurney, because of having had a husband that had to be put on a gurney several times. And she said you answered every question that doctor asks you in the ER. I have no recall of any of that.
Yeah. No, that's it, yeah.
I just opened my eyes, and I was in the hospital. Well, then I get home, and they still have not put in my bathroom. And I thought, who do big time on the restoration? My home is not the home it was.
And I saw this girl online that I knew she was the wife of a former student of mine.
I knew her mother-in-law, and I thought they were very honest people, and she said, I'm earning $900 a day.
And I thought, I need that. I need that money. I'm in a bad situation right now. And I… I joined. It was an impulse. It was not thought through
Yeah, exactly. So…
It was… but at the same time, like I said, that… that might have been an impulsive decision, however, the benefit of that has not been a bad. Like, that's all been pros, really. Whether you've made sales or not, the information that you've learned, the technology that you've learned.
Yes.
The connections that you've made, the… you know, you now surround yourself, the 5 top people that you surround yourself with. You know, uh, you know, obviously your son and your daughter.
Yes, and…
Um, and you have a sister as well, but then you… Then you've got these other people that are all here to support, help, and encourage you. And so the benefits of that far… outweigh… the, um… the things that haven't worked for you in that. So it's about now.
Finding the solutions to create that income. Um, or create more income. So that's all gonna work, and…
Right, so after this.
You know, you've got the help where you now know you can… you can reach out to people and say.
This is… you may, will I? You know, Celine? Um, this is not working for me, can you please have a look at it And you know that we will have a look at it, and help you do that. So, rather than you paying out money that you don't need to pay out.
Yes.
Money for, necessarily. Um, and just a disclaimer here, we are not helping Diane set up her website. We are helping Diane to…
Workhouse System I.O. Um, you know, with the extras, so that's just a disclaimer, we have to put that in because we are not helping you with your website.
Covid-19 vaccine. Of the heart muscle.
And, uh, so… we, you know, there are certain rules and guidelines within the community and the business that we, um side effects, injections like me. Can't do, and you've gone down the right channels for that, and there's been things that we've been able to help you with, your, you know, messaging, your TikTok account, your accountability.
You know, your mindset, there's so many other things that we've helped you with.
That have helped you, and now we've got to get that inner in the block. Out and move on and see, ah! I was wondering… I was one of the first 50 people to join, uh.
The, uh, mastermind? With Michelle and Mike, I was one of the first 50, and so…
I was like, she said, you know, I really like one of the founders of it, and I was, uh… planning to… to go to Kansas?
And she… I had told her, you know, that I had some health issues. She said, bring your daughter along.
With you, that would be just fine, you know? She can come. She doesn't have to be a member.
She doesn't have to join at all, and then… In January, the man moved out of my store. I had no money to keep paying Mastermind, and so I had to drop out.
And… that… That was a blow.
Hmm. But you've come a long way since January as well. You've come a long way with everything that you do in this business. So, what I want you to really look at now is those questions that I said, ask yourself.
Around. Um… Let's not live in that old story, because.
Right?
It's still a current story, but it's also an old story, and CEOs don't live in that old story. They just find a solution and move forward. So that's what it's about. We're putting on that CEO wealth.
Hat, and that's where we're headed now. We're not living in that, uh, stuff anymore.
These are things that… the more you keep telling yourself those stories, the more you're going to be there
So now we… we know that's there, we know that that's working in the background to find the solution.
But now we focus. On how to step up and rise above and activate everything else.
She's doing it! It's so important for you. To be in that space. Right now, because we're going to get you moving.
You are gonna move, you are going to crash, you are going to nail every part of this business.
Okay.
And I reckon that's not too far away. My friend. Beautiful.
I hope it's not. I've really been trying to take everything that I've been told, and I'll go back and I watch, like, I watch your TikToks, I watch… Willows, I watched Celine's, I watch a lot of people's, because…
After what I can learn from Jam. I'm not going to copy them, but I can learn. Pointers from them, from the way that they conduct them.
Yes?Oh, 100%. I do the same. I do the same. And you have come so far. Like, you were like this when I f irst met you, and now you're like this. Like, you're taking over the world, and, you know, women together are a force to be reckoned to… with. We are very powerful, and when we just…
Yes.
Join forces and do this together, there is… so much greatness.
And so much power that we hold, and that's… why you're being so much more, you know, assertive in your… in your videos that you do.300 locations.
Yes. And see, I've learned so much from y'all. The lady I signed under that set everything, she set everything up. And what you do…And that's why I had never even been in the system. She said, don't… Don't mess with it, you'll mess it up. And so I've never even been into there. But then Michelle says, we've got to do that. We need to do that on Sundays. We need to check, and.
Yeah.
I'm still learning how to handle that, and Laura has helped me tremendously.
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm Yeah.
With that, because, uh… I can text message her, you know, because we're both here in the States, and it's easy to do, and she can walk me through things, which is… She's just remarkable, because she catches it all. She understands it.
Yeah.Yeah, yeah, and her mind, she can switch things to… Um, to relate to how a person learns how to do stuff. I know she's done that with me with some technical stuff. But I also think… I also think that, you know. Yeah, we're all here to help and support you, and.Peace!
It's, you know, I know sometimes you message me, and I wake up in the morning, and it's probably been there for, like, 5 hours, and I'm like, oh god.
Well, we're so… we're so, uh, time different, you know. And so… We work it out. We get it going.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. But still, we can work out… we work out how to jump in the dent hall, yeah, and do things together, so… I think now that you've got your iPad, it's even better, because we can do it so that you click around.
With the instruction, and that's how you learn to do things. So.
You know, you're amazing, Diane, and you've come so far, and I'm so very, very proud of you.
Yes
Well, thank you. That means a lot.
And… Well, you've done the work, and that's what counts.
And she… and you're a very successful businesswoman. I can, you know, I picked up on that. You've been very successful at many different.
You know, you've done the work.
Businesses. And so… That's why I send you questions and all, because.
I feel like you've got a lot of the answers. Yes, sir. And you've done this mindset training for probably the long time, too.
Absolutely
Yay. Thank you.
Because you're so good at it. And I am determined to get there. I'm gonna get my head on straight Or else I'm gonna knock it off and put it back on, I'm so… I'm determined to get my head straight. And it… it makes me mad at myself when I don't, because.
Mm-hmm, yeah. I used to have such a fantastic memory. I mean, I really did. I was known for that in my teaching career.
Yeah, yeah.
They'll just say, go ask Diane, and she'll know. And then I come into this, and… Diane doesn't know, and so I'm having to learn…And sometimes that's hard for us to sit in that position, you know, when we know what we do so fluently, and this is so different from everything that you've done, and it's like. A whole new hill. Yes. And it is only about putting on that student heart and going, well, I'm here to learn, and I'm open to receive.
Exactly.
The information so I can implement. And that's what it's about you know, and you do that really well as… as well, as, you know, I'm sure you're an amazing teacher. Because of the way that you learn and implement, and that would come out in your teaching skills.
Yes, and I'll be honest. I am the only teacher, and I taught kindergarten and first grade, because reading.
It's my thing. I love to read, I've loved to read since I was a little child, and… I always… when they moved teaching reading down to kindergarten, I went to the principal, I said, you gotta move me to kindergarten, because I want them before anyone else gets a hold of them.
And I went to a workshop, and I learned so much in that workshop, I came back to my principal.
Yeah.
He said, you talked to other teachers into. Into this, to one of those books, and I will let you order them.
Well, they all said, oh, yes, yes, they would use them. So I ordered them. Do you know I am the only one.
Who used those books to teach my children individually. I no longer did the round robin. I taught each child individually, and I had my plans made where my assistant could take care, and I had different groups. I was watching while I was teaching those children individually, and.I have to break on myself. I would have children walking my kindergarten classroom that didn't know a single letter.
Yeah.
And walk out of my classroom in May. Reading on a second grade level. And I didn't do the testing. Someone else in the school did the testing
Mmm. Well done! See, you are a teacher!
So I know that the level was correct. You know. And… And I just… to this day, do not know another teacher anywhere that ever taught. Reading individually. But when I saw what that man presented, and how… what an effect it could have on children, I said.
Yeah.
I've got to do that, because I am a firm believer that if you can read.
You can learn how to do anything. You've just got to be a good reader.
And you'll learn. So… so…
Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Well done. Good on you. Alright, well, we better go, because we've got this…
Yes, it's getting late. Thank you.
Oh, coming up? Um, thank you so much. Please work on those questions, and… You know, we'll see where you're up to next week with everything, and we'll just keep, um, keep moving forward, keep on track.
Um, stay in your lane, and really just, yeah, keep watching what everyone else is doing, pick up those.
Uh, prompts that you need to pick up, those pointers that you want to implement.
You know, we can take one thing from there, one thing from there, we… by the time we take a few things and put it all together.
My pleasure.
It makes amazing information. So, you know, that's what it's about. You are the CEO of your own wealth and your own business, so.
Yes, she does.
Time to step that into your life as well.
Okay, thank you so much, Donna. I truly appreciate you!
