I lost my father 5 1/2 years ago to suicide. In that moment on that day my life split in two, before & after he died. I have spent these last few years fighting my way back to who I was or some semblance of that woman. About two years after he passed away my youngest brother took his life also and 6 months later a very good friend did the same. I have lost loved ones in the past but nothing has ever felt like this . Earlier in the day when my dad died my daughter tried taking her life, I thank god everyday she did not succeed or I would have lost them both the same day. I have PTSD from this. Severe anxiety, depression for the first time time in my life. I have a lot to share and would love to help somone else going through it with your child or having lost someone you love . I tried starting a support group near me and it was not working so I thought I would try this and maybe reach more people.
