Meeting
I recently painted a ceramic plate. It wasn’t perfect, and that was kind of the point. For a long time, I carried shame around creating—believing I wasn’t “talented enough” to make something beautiful. But this time, I let myself begin anyway.
What I strive to represent is permission: to try, to learn, to create badly, slowly, imperfectly. To heal not by getting it right, but by showing up. I’m choosing curiosity over shame and process over performance.
