Hi there, I'm Marc. I first saw a Handpan in 2003 in Paris played by a guy with locks...loved it immediately but...wasn't able to afford one at this time and it started to become complicated with PanArt letter policy and waiting list. I was living above for 15 years, travelling from one country to another and forgot a bit the instrument... I'm now playing everyday since November 2022, without real organisation in my playing, but started last month a 2 hours per day playing planning that I'm now structuring...😅 I live in Marseille, France, don't work anymore, I will stay an amateur player, and the 5 players I love the most are Kabeçao (I did a 6 days residence with him last year), Mar Loi (I go to a 5 days residence with her in 2 weeks), Laurent Sureau, Quentin Kayser and Alexandre Lora. On the attached picture I have Kabé's Yishama "Astronaut" on my lap.... 🙏 All the best to you all. Marc

Hi hi, Im Ricardo from Mallorca , Spain
I instantly fall in love with this instrument when i saw it. Then finally i got one last year, i own a DKurd 8+1. My idea is getting a F# Low Pigmy 13+ 1 soon. I love the way i can express myself using intentional playing and dynamics. It gives me peace. Hope i can keep learning here, thanks for the opportunity.

Excited to Begin My Handpan Journey and a resource for Creators
Really excited to be here! My name is Alina, and I’ve recently started exploring the handpan. I’ve always been drawn to music that feels expressive and grounding, so discovering this instrument has been a beautiful experience so far. I joined this community to learn, grow my flow, and connect with others who are also on this journey of expanding their sound and presence. Looking forward to learning from you all and sharing progress along the way. Also, I wanted to share something that might be helpful to some of you here especially if you’re building your presence as a musician: A friend of mine is currently offering free website design for a limited number of people as she builds her portfolio. If you’re a handpan player (or musician/creative) looking to showcase your music, create a simple online presence, or share your work more professionally, this could be a great opportunity. It’s free, just limited slots. If anyone’s interested, feel free to comment or send me a message and I’ll connect you Looking forward to being part of this space
