A scammer may have spam messaged you this past week and it was the final straw.

A challenge with a free group is that it can get harder to police who joins and who shows up. And I want this room to be filled with the highest-value connectors and genuinely amazing people who are here to help each other.

So here’s the update.

Starting January 1, 2026, I’m adding a $9 monthly charge for all NEW group members.

What does this mean?

New members will get access to at least 3 networking events and workshops per month, the forum, and everything else for just $9 per month. This small barrier helps ensure the right people join, contribute, and keep the room high-trust and high-vibe.

Now the big questions...

What’s happening to our long-running monthly public networking event on the 4th Tuesday?

Absolutely nothing.

We will still have one free, open-to-the-public event each month. I’ll continue to promote it with an event on LinkedIn just like I always have.

I am already in this group for free will I now be charged $9?

NO! NO! NO!

I’m grandfathering everyone in.

If you’re reading this, you’re already part of the community as an active, long-time participant, and you will not be subjected to the $9 per month fee.

I do reserve the right to deactivate an account at any time if someone is clearly not aligned with the spirit of this community. I’m confident that won’t be you.
