In this video, I show how to create different polygon variations while keeping the same target area.
This is useful when you want to explore multiple design options, but still keep one important constraint fixed. For example, you may want different plot shapes, massing footprints, or competition options that all stay within the same area requirement.
The main idea is simple:
- Start with a base polygon
- Rotate the edges to create variations
- Rebuild the shape from intersections
- Scale the result back to the target area
- Check whether it fits inside the boundary
