CONCISE (GENERAL) EXPERIENCE
I was first licensed for ministry in 1995 by the Church of the Advent, Westbury, Long Island
N. Y. I then attended George Mercer, Empire State and the N.Y.C.C.C. During my pilgrimage 1 counseled at the lay level and developed and implemented an outreach to shut-in's program. I soon enrolled at Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary. After graduating from Trinity with a BA in Biblical Counseling I
decided to offer Counseling as a professional with supervision in private practice. Opportunities arose for me to work in the field as a salaried employee as well offering
individual and group therapies. In August of 2004 I started working part time as Assistant Director and Pastoral Counselor at Day Seven Ministries, 802 Old Hickory Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601-4932. I worked with and
under the supervision of Bill Taylor, Executive Director offering:
• Biblical Teaching & Counseling, individual & couples
• Leading Therapeutic Recovery support groups After about a year of outreach and networking within the Amish and Mennonite Community I began offering in home counseling services. On October 16", 2006 with the support of my wife Peggy, several ministers and two bishops of the Amish Church I began working solely
in private practice. Soon after the completion of my master's degree in 2007 I was contacted by Lancaster Bible College and invited to teach part time at Lancaster Bible Colleges Biblical Enrichment
Institute as an Adjunct Professor. I'm currently working in private practice out of my home office here in Lititz since
November of 2006.
Sincerely, Dr. Thomas R. Miller, C.Ph.D
