Question: Consent & Opt-In for Domme-Style Coaching Community
Hey fellow community owners! I have a unique question about consent and member opt-in. I'm a life coach with Dominatrix branding. My intention is to keep the community SFW, but the question of consent is pivotal given my approach. For the most part, I play a supportive, gentle Domme character whose "kink is self-improvement." I support my members with unconditional love and curiosity, similar to most coaches. However, with some people who specifically ask for it, I will be harsher to help them reach their goals. For example, I recently assigned a member a set of tasks for the week and told him if he doesn't complete them, I will ignore him for a week. It's working great and he's very motivated. He asked for this structure. Given my current format, I'm not worried about someone not consenting to positive reinforcement, but I want to use this as an opportunity to model the importance of consent because it needs to be crystal clear in any actual BDSM-adjacent space. I'm currently creating a "Start Here" course and am considering making it mandatory before any group calls. On the last page, I'd get their consent and "opt-in" to being in this space with a Domme-like presence. My questions: - Do you think just having them complete the course is enough? - Should I get a formal signature through an embedded link? - Should I have them make a post saying specifically that they consent to be here? I want to protect myself as a coach and make sure the people in my community understand boundaries and consent from the start. Has anyone navigated something similar? Would love your thoughts.
WELLCOME!!!
Hey! I’m really excited to have you in our community! We’re all about learning, growing, and building real success in digital marketing together. I hope you’re free right now so we can connect. To be honest, I also struggled at the beginning getting sales, setting up my store, everything felt confusing. But things changed when I met someone who guided me through the whole process, and since then I’ve been making $10k - $30k on a monthlybasis. If you don’t mind, you can reach out to her on WhatsApp now. She’ll help you the same way she helped me on my journey: https://t.me/Arettachioma01
