I’m at the stage where I need to decide pricing for my Parent Regulation Cards, and I’d genuinely value some outside perspective from people who understand building things from the ground up. I haven’t released them yet — I’m still figuring out what feels realistic and sustainable. Printing, packaging and postage all add up quickly, especially when shipping alone is looking around £7–£13 depending on location and options. I want to keep things accessible for families, but I also don’t want to underprice something to the point it isn’t viable long-term. I consistently undervalue myself so to me this seems high but ChatGPT suggested somewhere around £20–£25 as a possible range, mainly because of: • physical print costs • packaging and handling, decoration • time spent creating and designing • the value of a tangible support tool rather than just a digital download I’m also planning to create an app version later so people who genuinely can’t afford physical cards still have access in some way. So I’m curious… 👉 What would you see as a realistic price for something like this? 👉 Would you expect shipping included, or separate? 👉 When shipping itself is £7–£13, how would you balance affordability with fairness to the creator? I’m really open to honest opinions — this part of the process is new territory for me!!
