When does the 'Red Carpet' become a Red Flag? 🎭
"Hi Goosifyers! Grandad here. β˜•οΈ
I’ve been navigating the corporate and creative seas for a long time, and I’ve noticed a strange weather pattern.
Sometimes, when a new opportunity or partnership rolls out the 'Red Carpet'β€”the big promises, the 'Babe/Family' language, the high-energy love-bombingβ€”it’s actually a Red Flag in disguise. It’s a 'Vulture' trying to dazzle you so you don't check the tiller or notice the muddy windshield.
My Question for the Builders here:
In your experience, where is the line?
  • Is a 'Red Carpet' welcome a sign of a high-value community?
  • Or is it a signal that the 'School Fees' are about to get very expensive?
I’ve found that the best 'Safe Harbours' usually have a Steady Hand and a quiet light rather than a flashing neon sign.
What do you think?
Have you ever followed a red carpet only to realize you were heading straight for a reef?
Let’s start the debate below! β›΅οΈπŸ§±"
