My plan: go from 9-to-5 to full-time CEO of my own business and I'm documenting every step publicly.

I started with just a website and an email list. Slow going. Built to about 800 engaged subscribers over 8 months which felt like pushing a boulder uphill.

Then I created a Skool community just over a month ago.

The difference in connection and engagement is night and day. People actually talk here 😆. They reply, they share, they show up. If I get a reply to an email its such a win but also so infrequent (probably says more about my emails than anything else!), Skool feels like a real room.

Still in my 9-to-5 and still figuring this out.
