Hi everyone! I hope Iβm not intruding, but I felt this work Iβve just finished could be of great use to you. Iβm not here to ask for anything, and thereβs no obligation at all; I simply wanted to share something born from my roots and my clinical practice as a pediatrician and a neurodivergent person.
My goal is to approach the reality of Autism, ADHD, and AuDHD in a gentler way, though itβs also for anyone without a diagnosis who sometimes struggles to quiet the external noise. π§ β¨
"Kusi in the Carnival of the Mind" is my second illustrated ebook. I chose the Carnival setting because, to me, neurodivergence feels exactly like that: a burst of stimuli, colors, and rhythms that can sometimes overwhelm us but also define who we are. In this story, you will meet:
- Kusi: The child who represents our sensitivity.
- Pachamama: Mother Earth, as that embrace and calm we need to return to our bodies.
- Pujllay: The spirit that symbolizes our impulses and energy.
Iβm sharing this for free because I believe support should reach those who need it most, whether it's to share with loved ones or for your own journey of self-discovery. Iβll be sharing this in similar communities because I truly want Kusi to provide answers or relief to neurodivergent individuals and their families. πβ€οΈ
I hope it touches your heart and that you enjoy this story as much as I enjoyed writing it. Thank you so much for your time!
Note on the setting: Jujuyβs Carnival is a popular celebration in northern Argentina (Quebrada de Humahuaca). Itβs a community-based festival with deep Andean roots, a part of my country that is sometimes overlooked despite its immense beauty. Iβm taking you on a little trip there too! π¦π·π΅
