Hey All
Hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent a couple of hours watching the latest video from Sam, Hormozi and The GOAT which was the video in the Schoolers community. It was full of nuggets but 2 really resonated with me :
"Proof Before Promise"
Gone are the days when we could sell on the promise of delivering something and this really hit me. I am a therapist, and for the last 30 years I have been working with clients on the promise that they will "get better" by working with me. Whilst I do have a set routine, steps, and processes I take clients through, due to the broad nature of what causes someone to walk into my clinic, it was always very hard to know what the outcome would be before they took the plunge. For the past 10-15 years I have become more disillusioned with typical therapeutic practice, mainly due to the fact that a lot of crap, under experienced therapists out there are taking the piss and cause their clients to have to work with them for years. Milking the cash cow. This is wrong. If I don't create a transformational shift in each and every client, in each and every session, I have failed. This has meant my average clients last approximately 6 sessions before they have the clarity, confidence and inner peace to know there was nothing wrong with them in the first place. Having been those people's "secret weapon" for decades, I have never ventured onto social media. But now I am getting out of the comfort of my therapy room and going digital in Skool, I am starting to take this path - this week I will be doing my first couple of YouTube videos. But creating a community has been pivotal in delivering proof before promise - thank you Skool! The product I sell is Freedom and the proof is building.
"Rising Floor for Authenticity"
We actually talked about this on last week's Super Star call which was ace. You can no longer fake it until you make it. It is a pre-requisite to be an expert at what you do, in your own unique way. But to be yourself in the process. Otherwise, the cracks will appear and either you will be called out, or your results will not be great. Either way, being you is the best selling proposition for your own business. And the "internet" is casting aside those that lack the authenticity.
Hope everyone has a cracking week ahead!
Lets go!
