Journey to the QLD and AUS PGA champs
Not many know but I stopped playing professionally in 2014 to pursue my new passion of growing the game of golf through coaching.
However there's always been a small fire in my belly on wanting to be competitive however doubts and worries of being in an uncomfortable environment have kept me away.
Always making up excuses like im too busy now with lessons and I can't get away because of family and I don't practice enough to be competitive.
So I went F*&K it I want a challenge myself and want to be in an uncomfortable spot where it feel likes all odds are against me. In fact there is 6 spots for over 100 pros to get a start in the QLD PGA and the AUS PGA.
But its more about the fact I broke through the barrier and putting all these shit thoughts in the back and saying I want this challenge and I want to feel the exciting of "what if" and handling this as well.
Thinking of the endless opportunities is also not the best mindset however it is better the negative self trash talk. Therefore my focus is to continue practicing my pre shot routine (wax on wax off) and make sure I do this every shot. If I can do this it gives me the highest chance of executing.
Jump on the pga.org.au website to follow my progress and journey.
I want to see what barriers you can crash through as well
