Hi, I’m Sylvia Moore Myers, author of Gold Scars: The Truth About Grief, Loss, and Trauma and How to Beautifully Mend. My journey through devastating loss has shown me that we don’t “heal” the way people often expect. We scar. And those scars, when we acknowledge them, can become part of our story; something we carry with strength, not shame.
That realization led me to write my book and to create this community: Gold Scars Survivors. This is a safe, private space where you can share your story, connect with others who understand, and learn practical ways to gently mend after grief and trauma.
Here’s what you’ll find inside:
- 🌱 Short lessons and tools to help you navigate grief.
- 💬 A supportive community where your voice matters.
- ✝️ Opportunities to grow stronger in faith, courage, and hope.
I want you to know that you are not alone. Your scars do not mean you are broken. They mean you have survived. And people with wounds are looking for people with scars. So, together, we will walk this road of mending, one step at a time.
Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
