START HERE — Welcome to the Glamping Development Community
Hey there — I’m Chris Jeub. I own and operate Monument Glamping in Colorado, and I’ve built this community to help landowners turn their property into a revenue-generating asset through glamping. If you’re here, you’re probably exploring one of these paths: - Turning raw land into income - Adding a tent, dome, cabin, or container home - Navigating county permits, utilities, and inspections - Financing your build-out without drowning in debt - Learning from someone who’s already done it (and is still in the trenches daily) That’s exactly what this community is for. Straight answers. Real experience. No hype. No theorizing. Just the actual road to building a profitable glamping site. WHAT TO DO FIRST To get the most out of this community, knock out these steps: 1. Introduce Yourself — Tell us where you're from, what land you have (or want), and what you hope to build. 2. Watch the Videos — Check out the Classroom to get a feel for the systems: the build-out phases, permits, utilities, operations, and financing. 3. Book an Onboarding Call — If you’re serious about building, the call will help you figure out your next right step and whether any of my programs can help you get there faster. WHAT TO EXPECT HERE This community is your shortcut. You’ll find: - Case studies from actual glamping owners - Financing strategies and breakdowns - Permitting wins (and battles I’ve fought so you don’t have to) - Build-out lessons, mistakes, and legal nuances - Operations systems that actually scale - Weekly tips from what I’m dealing with in real time This is the stuff nobody tells you until you’re already in trouble. You get it up front. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES - Be real. No posturing, no guru talk. - Be helpful. Share wins, struggles, lessons. - Be respectful. We’re all in different stages. - No spam or promo. This group only works if we keep it honest and useful. YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF… - You own land (or want to) - You want to build a glamping site the right way - You want to avoid catastrophic mistakes - You want a community of builders, not dreamers

Upcoming Changes to YLIG: Explorer Track + Masters Track
Hey everyone — I want to give you a clear look at where YLIG is heading. I’m restructuring the community so it better reflects the real stages landowners go through. Going forward, YLIG will have two membership levels: the FREE Explorer Track and the PAID Masters Track. *** FREE — The Explorer Track *** This is for people who are actively exploring the idea of developing land — curious, interested, maybe even running early numbers — but not yet committed to a project. Explorer members will still have access to community conversations and the weekly meetings, giving you a chance to listen, learn, and get a feel for what real development looks like. I’m also considering a small set of introductory lessons inside the Classrooms to help you understand opportunities and possibilities. But that’s it. Anything involving planning, financing, permitting, strategy, or execution will remain behind the paywall. *** PAID — The Masters Track *** This is for those who are building: you have land, you’re under contract, or you’re in the middle of design, development, permits, operations, or launch. The Masters Track includes everything you need to succeed — templates, MonGlamp documents, business workflows, compliance case studies, backend operations, and the full Mastermind experience. This is where real progress happens, and it’s designed specifically for people who are moving forward, not just thinking about it. The Masters Track has two payment options: - Monthly - Yearly (saves $100) Pick whichever fits your season. *** About upgrading or downgrading *** Some of you will realize you’re better suited for the Explorer Track right now. Others will see that it’s time to step into the Masters Track because you’re actively developing. I’m good with both. My goal is to support you in the lane that actually matches your momentum. More updates soon — but this is the direction, and it’s going to make the entire YLIG ecosystem clearer, stronger, and more aligned with the real journey of land-based hospitality.

Duck Hunting, Big Conversations, and a Full Day With Todd Wynne-Parry
Todd Wynne-Parry and I hit the marsh this morning, and let me tell you… there are a lot of lucky ducks flying around Colorado right now. We burned through plenty of ammo and missed more than we hit, but we still came out with two drakes and two hens. After washing up and breasting the birds, I wrapped a few up for Todd to take home. Good morning, good company, good hunt. From there, the day took a business-savvy turn. We toured the Aramark facility here in Colorado Springs, called the Pikes Peak Destination. The Pikes Peak summit was closed from the snow (common this time of the year) — so we didn’t get to see the top-of-the-mountain operation — but we did get the full walkthrough of their food prep, storage areas, and workflow. Their manager, Jared, gave us a great rundown of the operation. Aramark is huge: District 20 Schools, the City of Colorado Springs, and a whole network of B2B relationships all rely on them for food service. Naturally, we talked about Monument Glamping and how something like our operation could fit into the broader Pikes Peak region Aramark services. The Pikes Peak branch currently has no accommodations, but Todd shared that he’d already explored a few ideas in that direction. So yes — the long-term possibility is real. And fun to dream about. After lunch, I took Todd over to our second property. He met Micah and Kya and a few of my grandkids. Short visit, but a sweet one. Then he dropped me off at home, grabbed his packaged duck from my freezer, and headed for the airport. Here’s what really stuck with me today: It’s just plain nice spending time with someone in the glamping industry who really knows his stuff. Todd’s got decades under his belt, and the back-and-forth was energizing — not just about operations, but about the mutual possibility of what future acquisitions or partnerships might look like as this industry matures.

12.4.25 Mastermind Replay Is Now Available
Tonight's Mastermind was a blast, and the replay is now up: https://www.skool.com/gold/classroom/a51c84c0?md=3ccb11d8c46147eea31043dbb1376d74 The real highlight? Todd Wynne-Parry crashing our party. Todd is one of the strongest voices in the glamping world — thoughtful, experienced, plugged into the industry in ways most of us only hope to be. Having him in our midst was a gift. And it continues: I’ll be duck hunting with him in the morning (pics incoming), then spending the afternoon with him at the Pikes Peak operation Aramark runs here in Colorado Springs. Aramark is a massive publicly traded company, and Todd has been open about his interest in acquiring operations like Monument Glamping. I’m grateful for the time with him and I’ll share what comes of our conversations. Before I signed off, I gave a small reminder about posting here in the community — and it’s worth repeating. Your content doesn’t need to be polished, perfect, or strategic. It can be whatever is happening right now. Anything that crosses your desk… post it. That’s the magic of this group. We’re looking over each other’s shoulders as we figure out how to turn our land into gold. The day-by-day trials, wins, questions, or weird little discoveries — those are the things that help all of us. So keep sharing. We’re better for it.
Tonight’s Meeting — Lots to Catch Up On
Hey everyone, quick reminder that we’re meeting tonight at 7pm MT, and we’ve got a full plate of updates to run through. On the agenda: • My SBA application drama. It’s a great story — equal parts absurd and entertaining — and there are some takeaways in it for all of us. • Todd Wynne Parry’s visit. His flight was delayed, so he may arrive during our meeting. Wouldn't that be fun? • Updates from everyone. Especially you, @Anja Wynne — we’re all eager to hear where things stand on your end. Looking forward to seeing you all tonight. This community keeps getting better, and I love hearing what each of you is building.
