IT’S TIME WE STOPPED WATCHING AND STARTED BUILDING.
It’s time we stopped watching and started building. In this powerful short video, Kanessa Muluneh (
@kanessamuluneh) delivers a clear, hopeful message: Instead of only complaining that the world takes resources from Africa, the diaspora (and locals) have a real opportunity to take matters into our own hands through smart investment.
She recently launched Nyle, a diaspora-focused investment company that is starting with mining one of the sectors where Africa’s natural wealth is enormous. Her point is simple and empowering: access to these opportunities can actually be easier for those connected to the continent, and the potential returns (financial + emotional) are significant.
As she says:
“We can all sit and complain that the world is taking all the materials from Africa, but that is also because we don’t take matters into our own hands.” This isn’t just about money. It’s about contributing to real development, creating wealth that stays on the continent, and feeling the pride of watching Africa rise while being part of the process.
Big respect to Kanessa for walking the talk and creating a vehicle (Nyle) that makes it easier for the diaspora to participate.
If you’ve ever thought about investing in Africa or want to learn more about opportunities in emerging markets, this is the kind of conversation we need more of.
What are your thoughts? Would you consider investing back home? Full video here: https://www.tiktok.com/@kanessamuluneh/video/7524378967084698912#InvestInAfrica #DiasporaInvesting #NyleAfrica #AfricanOpportunities #BuildAfrica #WealthCreation #EmergingMarkets
