On this revolutionary day in Portuguese history, it's a good time for our latest pivot, here at the Good Morning Portugal! / Portugal Talk Radio community... Muito obrigado to all long-time supporters and recent arrivals. It remains my aim to honour, celebrate and promote Portuguese culture, and here's my latest effort 😘 'Eat, Drink & Speak Portuguese, TODAY!' takes over from SWAT Portuguese with a launch on the show tomorrow morning. Back story: See meetup recording from Friday with stalwarts @Peter Haglund and @Brian Mathers, 👇where I reflect on why people say they want to learn Portuguese but often don’t follow through, and announce the pivot in approach to get more members speaking the local lingo. The community will be renamed and reframed as “Eat, Drink & Speak Portuguese, TODAY!” using everyday Portuguese food and drink as a cultural, visual, vocabulary-driven way to practice.
