Happy Port Wine Day! Feliz Dia do Vinho do Porto!

Olá, bom dia! Tudo bem?

It's Port Wine Day here in Portugal, celebrated on the 10th of September every year and chosen as it directly marks the anniversary of 10 September 1756, when the Marquis of Pombal created the "Companhia Geral da Agricultura das Vinhas do Alto Douro" - establishing the Alto Douro as the world's first officially demarcated and regulated wine region.

In honour of this special day, there's a Port Wine module available to you in the classroom.

So I'm saying "Cheers", "Saúde" AND "Tchin-tchin" as we take Port as our inspiration today - when it comes to who you're speaking to, what you're going to say, and where you're going to say it (the restaurant, bar or wine shop?).
