It’s March 1! Let’s Talk First-Fruits

Firstfruits = the first installment guaranteeing the full harvest to come.

Firstfruits are sown at the beginning of harvest, as an act of faith before the full provision is seen. It’s not simply a financial act; it is a covenant declaration saying “This season and its fruit belong to the Lord first.”

Biblically, people sow firstfruits when:

A new season begins
The first breakthrough appears
The first portion of provision comes in
Before consuming the increase themselves

It was an act of faith saying:

“God, this harvest belongs to You first. I trust You for the rest.” So spiritually, firstfruit sowing is tied to new beginnings, resurrection seasons, and covenant trust in future provision.

How do you want to mark the start of a new thing? New season? New era? New promotion? It was a firstfruit offering that caused God to favor Abel. Pay close attention to this season and where you see increase, and give God an firstfruit offering that shows Him you trust Him with the fullness of the season!
