Hi,
I’ve just completed the HireHawk Operating System course and wanted to share a quick takeaway.
My biggest takeaway was the importance of thinking beyond just completing a task and instead setting people and systems up to work well long-term. It really reinforced the value of structure, clarity, and ownership.
Here’s an example from my past work that reflects this:
I was asked to hire and train new staff for our filling station. Instead of only recruiting and doing basic onboarding, I created a simple training structure, clearly explained roles and expectations, and made sure new hires understood both customer service standards and daily operations. This reduced confusion on shifts, improved consistency, and helped new staff settle in faster with fewer issues later on.
The course helped me see how small systems like this can make a big difference, and I’m excited to keep applying these principles going forward.
