Welcome to the Community đ
You made it.
Youâre here because youâre done playing by rules that were never built for you.
Let me tell you how I ended up hereâand why this community exists.
The Plan Was Simple
I was born and raised in the US. Colombian parents, but fully American. I never imagined living anywhere else.
I thought I knew the playbook:
⢠Move to a big city
⢠Get the corporate job
⢠Climb the ladder
⢠âMake itâ
So I did exactly that.
I moved to New York City, started grinding, building my career, following the script perfectly.
Then March 2020 hit.
Everything shut down. The office vanished overnight.
The ladder Iâd been climbing? Gone.
The system I was working toward? No longer existed.
Suddenly I was stuck in an apartment in NYC watching my plans dissolve.
I had two options:
⢠Panic and hope things âwent back to normal,â or
⢠Pivot and figure out what came next
I chose to pivot.
Everything Changed
My job went fully remote, and at first, I thought it would be great.
It wasnât.
I burned outâbadly.
With no structure, no boundaries, no direction, I eventually left that job completely fried.
Then came the hardest part: almost two years of wandering professionally.
I applied to hundreds of jobs a day.
I said yes to anything.
I tried to stay remote at all costs.
But I had no plan. No strategy. Just desperation and hope.
It was exhausting.
Demoralizing.
And honestly, humiliating at times.
Yet somewhere in all that chaos⌠something clicked.
I realized the jobs I did landâthe ones that actually worked outâwerenât coming from the spray-and-pray approach.
They came from something different.
Something unconventional.
So I started paying attention.
Reverse-engineering.
Testing.
Refining.
Slowly, things shifted.
I wasnât just surviving anymoreâI was figuring out the game.
My Priorities Changed
I didnât want to go back to an office.
I didnât want a commute.
I didnât want to live somewhere just because âthatâs where the good jobs are.â
I wanted freedom.
I wanted to design my life.
I wanted to choose where I livedânot let a job choose it for me.
So five years ago, I made the call:
I moved to Colombia.
Not because I was giving up on anythingâ
but because what I was chasing had completely changed.
From there, everything accelerated:
⢠I built my career intentionally
⢠Landed roles using unconventional strategies
⢠Worked with dozens of companies
⢠Climbed to Fractional Director of Customer Success, leading a team of 8
⢠Built a company (Get On A Pod) from the ground up
⢠Generated hundreds of thousands in revenue over two years
And none of it wouldâve happened if Iâd stayed on the traditional path.
Then I Started Noticing SomethingâŚ
As I worked with more companies, something became painfully obvious:
LATAM talent is massively underestimatedâcompletely unfairly.
I kept seeing:
⢠Skilled professionals getting ghosted once recruiters saw their location
⢠Senior candidates being offered junior salaries
⢠Incredible talent being filtered out by systems not built to recognize them
⢠Perfectly qualified applicants being ignored
And it pissed me off.
Because I knew these people could compete.
I knew they had the skills.
I knew they could do the job better than most US candidates.
They just didnât know how to show it.
Meanwhile, I had been doing this for years.
Landing role after role.
Building income streams.
Navigating US hiring from outside the US.
I kept thinking:
If I can do this, why canât they?
So I Tested It
Could I teach it?
Could I help someone who was stuck in the same cycleâapplying, getting ghosted, thinking their location was the problem?
I started working with people.
One at a time.
Teaching them:
⢠How to position themselves
⢠Where international-friendly roles actually exist
⢠How to interview in a US style
⢠How to negotiate confidently
⢠How to compete on equal footing
And it worked.
Dozens of LATAM professionals landed real opportunities.
Not junior roles for senior skills.
Not lowball offers.
Real jobs with companies that valued their talent.
Thatâs when I realized:
This was bigger than just me.
Hereâs What I Know Now
The system isnât broken.
Itâs just not built for LATAM professionals.
US companies want global talent.
But:
⢠Recruiters donât know how to evaluate international experience
⢠Hiring managers hesitate because theyâve never worked with LATAM talent
⢠Automated systems filter out qualified applicants
Youâre not getting rejected because youâre not good enough.
Youâre getting rejected because you donât know how to translate your value into their language.
Your English? An asset.
Your timezone overlap? A competitive advantage.
Your skills? Better than you think.
The only missing piece is positioningâhow you package and present your value so it becomes undeniable.
Iâve lived on both sides:
⢠The traditional US corporate world
⢠The fully remote LATAM-based career rebuild
And I know exactly where the disconnect is.
That gapâthatâs what Iâm here to fix.
Why This Community Exists
I got tired of watching talented people:
⢠Apply to hundreds of jobs with no response
⢠Settle for salaries far below their value
⢠Wonder if their location was the problem
⢠Doubt whether they could ever land a US role
So I built this community.
Not a job board.
Not a passive course.
Not empty theory.
A real training community built around the exact strategies that worked for meâand for dozens of LATAM professionals who now earn what they deserve.
No fluff.
No fake promises.
Just what actually works.
Youâre in the Right Place
If youâre tired of applications disappearing into the voidâŚ
If youâre done settling for lessâŚ
If youâre ready to compete for real US opportunitiesâŚ
Welcome. You found your community.
Weâre going to help you:
⢠Land the role
⢠Get paid what youâre worth
⢠Build the career you deserve
⢠Create a life you actually want
Letâs make it happenâtogether.
Welcome to the community. đĽ
