ARE YOU READY?
Motivations for Rapture Belief:
- Salvation & Eternal Life - Believers see it as God's promise to rescue faithful Christians from judgment and tribulation
- Escaping Tribulation - Many believe the Rapture will spare believers from end-times suffering and God's wrath
- Reunion with Christ - Meeting Jesus face-to-face fulfills the ultimate Christian hope
Why Preparation is Considered Important:
- Unknown Timing - Jesus said "no one knows the day or hour" (Matthew 24:36), so believers must always be ready
- Spiritual Readiness - Requires maintaining faith, living righteously, and having a personal relationship with Jesus
- Eternal Consequences - Those "left behind" face tribulation and potential damnation
- Accountability - Believers will give account for their lives before Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10)
- Urgency of Faith - Motivates evangelism and personal commitment before it's "too late"
