There was a quality issue with my latest audiobook production that I want to share with you. 🎧

Because KDP doesn't have such strict guidelines, I didn't notice a „slight“ discrepancy between the title on the cover art and the metadata on the platform.

This happened with the Spanish edition of my book, Your Happiness Begins Now / Dein Glück beginnt jetzt. I had translated it to Tu suerte comienza ahora, but the cover art said Tu felicidad comienza ahora.

The Golden Rule for ACX:

The KDP metadata, the audio credits, and the cover art must match exactly. Even a tiny difference will cause ACX to reject the submission.

Bei meiner letzten Hörbuch-Produktion gab es ein Qualitäts- Problem, das ich gerne mit euch teilen möchte. 🎧

Da KDP „nicht ganz so strenge“ Richtlinien hat, ist mir gar nicht aufgefallen, dass es eine Abweichung zwischen dem Titel auf dem Cover und den Metadaten auf der Plattform gab.

Das ist bei der spanischen Ausgabe meines Buches Dein Glück beginnt jetzt (Your Happiness Begins Now) passiert. Ich hatte es mit „Tu suerte comienza ahora“ übersetzt, aber auf dem Cover stand „Tu felicidad comienza ahora“.

Die goldene Regel für ACX:

Die KDP-Metadaten, das gesprochene Intro/Outro und das Cover-Design müssen absolut identisch sein. Selbst die kleinste Abweichung führt dazu, dass ACX die Einreichung ablehnt.
