What Lenders Really Look At
Your credit score is important, but lenders look at much more than just a number.
They often review:
• Payment history
• Debt-to-income ratio
• Length of credit history
• Recent inquiries
• Credit utilization
• Derogatory accounts
Someone with a 680 score and strong financial habits may qualify more easily than someone with a 700 score carrying high debt.
Credit is about the whole picture, not just the score.
