Off I go into 10 days of silence at Suan Mokkh…

Now usually, retreat life means:

✨ Concrete bed

✨ Wooden pillow

✨ Minimal comfort—because enlightenment isn’t supposed to be cozy.

But this is my third retreat. And let’s just say… the Queen has learned a few things. 😉

So yes, I’ve officially upgraded. Bought myself this glorious floral mattress from the market (see royal throne below 👇 ).

Call it cheating, call it bending the rules—but sometimes rules are meant to be elegantly broken.

Because silence? It’s a whole lot sweeter when you can actually sleep. 😇
