I Get to Choose
I realized today that I haven’t really watched the news since November.
I’ve been deeply immersed in building this space, writing, creating, mentoring — and honestly, I’ve been happier for it.
I took a moment today to check in with the headlines, and it reminded me how heavy the constant news cycle can feel.
So I closed it and came back here.
Not because I’m unaware.
Not because I don’t care.
But because I get to choose where my attention lives.
Right now, I choose building, storytelling, and growth.
And I’m grateful for that choice.
