I spent $90k and passed a board exam to make clinical decisions
I spent $90k and passed a board exam to make clinical decisions.
So it stings when a scheduling dashboard makes them for me.
I get it. Companies need operations. Scheduling is hard. Utilization pays the bills.
But there's a line. Who a client sees. How many hours they get. When services end. Those are clinical calls, and they belong to the clinician who holds the case.
If you run a company: your BCBAs want to work with you, not around you. Put a clinician in every room where clinical calls get made.
That one change would keep more of us in the field than any pizza party ever will.
