Hi Everyone,
I spend a lot of my working and personal life talking with people about relationships, identity, anxiety, purpose, family systems, habits, burnout, confidence, self-doubt, pressure and all the strange ways humans help and sabotage themselves all at the same time. It all sounds very serious written down, but mostly it just means I’m deeply interested in people and how we learn to live a little more!
I’ve been doing this work for a long time now and one thing I’ve learned is that most people are carrying more pressure and uncertainty than they let on. There’s this strange expectation that you are supposed to somehow always know who you are; know where you’re going; make good decisions; have career direction; stay motivated; stay fit; manage money; heal your childhood and look calm while doing it. Meanwhile myself and most people I meet are quietly overwhelmed, overthinking things, comparing themselves to everyone else, and worrying that they are behind.
Personally, I’m probably more reflective than polished. I love music, travelling, family history, the gym and trying to make people laugh. I am endlessly curious about myself and others and how we be better for ourselves and our communities.
