What Kind of Content Are Christian Creators Hungry For?
Hey everyone! I’m a pastor preparing to start a YouTube channel, and I want to begin showing up more consistently in this community. I’m passionate about creating content that encourages and equips other believers—but as I start this journey, I’d really love to hear from you. What kind of content do you think Christian creators are craving right now? Or maybe: What kind of Christian content do you find most encouraging, helpful, or missing in the online space? Whether you’re a creator, consumer, or both, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Also—if you’re working on something right now, drop it below. I’d love to check it out and support however I can!
New attempt to succeed!
Ok, this is where everything started. Nearly 12 months ago. I've been through ups and downs and decided to finally try the new look and feel. NO editing, more freedom of creation, following the current trends of 40ish year olds talking about their lives and trying to drive traffic to an offer: 1. Youtube (Organic) + Google ads 2. Registration to live free webinar (2 hours) where I give 80% of my content and the chance to join the program 3. 30 days program: Start your business and potentially quit the 9-5 grind (It includes my book, My Masterclass with 20 videos and a few suggestions on a few different avenues as well as a 5 days intensive/ challenge to go from finding your purpose to setting yourself up online and finally the follow up for the rest of the month). I did this for many reasons but the main one, after several attempts to understand why there were no impressions on my current channel. There was a good retention rate and an average CTR, but no impressions. And it wasn't that the videos weren't interesting, some of you actually enjoyed it! So, having no answer for the lack of impressions I went on a journey and assumed that my algorith was messed up because the primary audience speaks a different language and I changed my language on the videos about 3 years ago and it never caught up. I could be totally wrong but since no one offered me a solution, I'm trying an alternative. I'm hoping to offer the whole program for around $2.000 based on what I've seen and consumed from online coaches. I've love for you guys to check the new channel and bombard me with your critiques about visuals, ideas, themes, nuances, the targed niche of anything you can find. Here is the channel: www.youtube.com/@thepedroalexandrino You can start by watching the channel trailer, which is also the core message of my journey. I could use some help in here
So, I've been taking my steps with my channel (www.youtube.com/pedroonpurpose). This channel is 15 years old. For a good portion of it, I dind't even use it properly. I had a recent look and more than 50% of the audience is from Brazil, speaks portuguese and I tracked some analytics and the greatest videos on the channel with 5-10k views are all old videos in portuguese. I feel like I have messed up my delivery mechanism. When I started publishing videos in English because the core audience, the itial testing circle, wouldn't understand it. I've been studying and following advice for nearly 18 months and nothing changed. Primarily, there are very few impressions in almost every video, and as a consequence, few clicks. After having tried a lot of things, I'm really considering starting another channel, doing the same videos, not re-uploads though. I would make them on a natural, no editing way, like the current trend with that guys "Azul" for example. Could you guys weigh in about starting this new channel from the scratch? Am I tripping? Is it possible to revert that mechanism? Anyone would have any specific advice? Thanks guys.
How do you conquer creative fatigue?
Sometimes when I'm editing something that is not a passion project and it just not coming out the way I hoped it would. What are some thing you do to get the spark back. The down side of shooting live events is that once that momment is gone it's gone. And it not like you can go and do resorts. So when I get to that chair sometimes things just don't come out the way I hope it would and really bums me out. Then finishing it become such a drag if you know what it me. Would love to hear how yall tackle this kind of problem! 😁😁😁
