Macbook Mic for audio book?!
// Stop Letting Tools Be Your Excuse - a reminder for me 🙃 I’ve heard it so many times — “I just don’t have the right tools.” “I’d start if my setup was better.” “I can’t create at the level I want with what I have.” I’ve said it too. But one of the most convicting things I’ve ever heard was this: “A poor tradesman blames his tools.” Oof. That hit me hard—because I’ve been there. But here’s the truth:Some of the most iconic works of art in history were made with what we’d now consider primitive tools. Whole albums recorded to tape. Speeches captured on wax cylinders. Stories passed down by word of mouth before they were ever written. I just finished editing an audiobook that was recorded on a MacBook mic wasn’t ideal. It wasn’t easy. But the end result? It was great. Because it’s not about perfection—it’s about persistence. So here’s your reminder: There is no barrier to making something that can bless others. What do you feel like is holding you back right now? Drop it in the comments so we can encourage each other and push forward together. Let’s get after it, fam. 💪

📝 Keynote Replay is Up! + This Week’s Challenge 💥
Replay up here in RunClub so you can revisit it and start putting some of that convo into action. Here’s what true for me: One of the best things I ever did for my creative work? ➡️ Found a rhythm and shared it with people. 👀So here’s a challenge for you this week: Set aside one lunch break or a random free moment. 🎯Do a 6-minute creative workout. - if you are really in... do it multiple times 😎 Just create something. Doesn’t have to be perfect. Just move. Even if you’re not a songwriter—this can still work or adapt it to your medium. And if you do build on it or remix it… post it here in runclub for others to benefit! We’re trying to build creative lives that actually last—and more than that, lives that reflect Jesus. That takes discipline. Why not start now? Imagine hitting your next maker block with a notebook full of little sparks instead of waiting for one to show up. 👇 Drop a comment to commit. 🧠 Share what came up. 🌱 Let’s grow together. You in?
