Macbook Mic for audio book?!
// Stop Letting Tools Be Your Excuse - a reminder for me 🙃 I’ve heard it so many times — “I just don’t have the right tools.” “I’d start if my setup was better.” “I can’t create at the level I want with what I have.” I’ve said it too. But one of the most convicting things I’ve ever heard was this: “A poor tradesman blames his tools.” Oof. That hit me hard—because I’ve been there. But here’s the truth:Some of the most iconic works of art in history were made with what we’d now consider primitive tools. Whole albums recorded to tape. Speeches captured on wax cylinders. Stories passed down by word of mouth before they were ever written. I just finished editing an audiobook that was recorded on a MacBook mic wasn’t ideal. It wasn’t easy. But the end result? It was great. Because it’s not about perfection—it’s about persistence. So here’s your reminder: There is no barrier to making something that can bless others. What do you feel like is holding you back right now? Drop it in the comments so we can encourage each other and push forward together. Let’s get after it, fam. 💪
