I’m gooing to tell out a couple things and I need you to visualize completely the whole blueprint.
- We can create an entrepreneurship program that rivals the size of the entire university system, this we crowdsource.
- To fund this system, we are going to invest in carnivorous plants and recreate tulip mania, today with carnivorous plants. I predict prices for carnivorous plants will 20x in 5 years.
- In the process, we are also able to crowdsource the nation’s next great science museum.
- The old business model for a science museum no longer works. We are going to brainstorm and collaborate a new business model.
Let’s take a thought experiment about the cautionary tale that is the Fresno Metropolitan museum.
The Fresno Met was the flagship science museum of central California. In the early 2000s it underwent a 28million dollar renovation. Reopening in the midst of the housing crisis, it closed for good in less than 15 months.
The thought experiment is this: what would have happened if they had demolished the entire science museum except the gift shop.
