Fish Club and The Boom explained
I’m gooing to tell out a couple things and I need you to visualize completely the whole blueprint.
  1. We can create an entrepreneurship program that rivals the size of the entire university system, this we crowdsource.
  2. To fund this system, we are going to invest in carnivorous plants and recreate tulip mania, today with carnivorous plants. I predict prices for carnivorous plants will 20x in 5 years.
  3. In the process, we are also able to crowdsource the nation’s next great science museum.
  4. The old business model for a science museum no longer works. We are going to brainstorm and collaborate a new business model.
Let’s take a thought experiment about the cautionary tale that is the Fresno Metropolitan museum.
The Fresno Met was the flagship science museum of central California. In the early 2000s it underwent a 28million dollar renovation. Reopening in the midst of the housing crisis, it closed for good in less than 15 months.
The thought experiment is this: what would have happened if they had demolished the entire science museum except the gift shop.
