The fastest and more killer way to get comfortable with objection handling is not to memorize the script - but the patterns.
Typically, almost every objection falls into one of the five buckets.
Learn the 5 Core Buckets (this is EVERYTHING)
Almost every objection falls into one of these:
- Time → “not now”, “busy”, “later”
- Money → “too expensive”, “no budget”
- Trust → “will this work?”, “scam?”
- Authority → “need to ask someone”
- Information/Avoidance → “send info”, “I’ll think”
👉 If you remember just this, you can handle anything on the fly.
Memorize ONE response pattern (not 50 lines)
Every strong response follows this structure:
Acknowledge → Clarify → Reframe → Guide
Example in your style:
- “Totally fair” (acknowledge)
- “What specifically…” (clarify)
- “Most people in your position…” (reframe)
- “So what we should do is…” (guide)
👉 This is your real script
🎯 How YOU should think on calls (this is your edge)
Instead of: “What do I say next?”
Think: “Which bucket is this?”
Then:
- Timing → create urgency
- Money → increase perceived value
- Trust → reduce risk
- Authority → align stakeholders
- Avoidance → ask better questions
If you remember NOTHING else, remember this:
👉 Every objection =“They’re not convinced enough yet.”
So your job becomes:
- Not convincing
- But uncovering what’s missing
