One of the biggest traps in the "Restart Loop" is the belief that we need a perfect, rigid morning routine to be successful. We try to meditate, journal, exercise, and drink green juice all before 7 AM. And the first day we fail, the whole system collapses.
I've learned that for most of us with non-linear brains, a long chain of habits is a recipe for failure. What we really need is not a chain, but an anchor.
An Anchor Habit is one tiny, non-negotiable action you take every single day that is tied to your most important goal. Its only job is to provide a single point of stability in the chaos of the day.
A few examples:
- If your goal is to write a book, your anchor is to write one sentence.
- If your goal is to get fit, your anchor is to put on your running shoes.
- If your goal is to grow your business, your anchor is to DM one person.
Notice that the anchor is not the full task.
It's the laughably small first step.
It's a "deposit" into your Proof Portfolio that says, "Today, I returned."
My question for you all is: What could be ONE tiny Anchor Habit for your biggest goal right now?
Let's brainstorm some ideas together in the comments.
