Hi Nice to meet everyone, I am honored to be here. I haven't been able to get through everyone's stories yet but looking forward to reading them. I just turned 47 (yesterday) :-) and my husband and I just decided we want to conceive. We haven't tried (well stopped preventing about a month ago) so I am new to the game. I just know with age we are told many misconceptions we can't do it, which I don't believe. I LOVE natural and holistic medicine so its the only way I'll go and with my own eggs. @Dr Fiona Tassoni what herbs do you suggest to boost fertility and/or egg quality? Do you actually meet with patients? I'd love to start out right doing the best for my body to give it the best chance possible to conceive. Thank you!!!

I've been using the femometer Ivy LH testing strips and have gotten a peak result for 5 days in a row (days 10-14). I'm not sure what to think of that - is it bad? Does that given me more chances to get pregnant? I've been ovulating early (according to my test strips and BBT) for the past few months and having short periods (23-25 days). I'm 45 and fear my hormones are out of whack. I'm doing acupuncture and taking herbs hoping it will help but this LH surge for 5 days is confusing to me.

I am planning to get tested for the MTHFR gene mutation. Is it worth it to get tested for COMT too?

I’m 46 years old and have had mostly text book cycles for the better part of a decade that I’ve been charting. My last pregnancy was when I was 42 and until now most of my pregnancies were about 18 months to 2 years apart. My periods have stopped since January (4 months) however my hormone levels are on track according to my last gyn check up last month. Efforts to clean up my diet- cutting out nearly all refined sugars and processed foods- and continuing the extensive supplement regimen I’m on, have so far been unsuccessful. I’m continuing to seek out ideas to reverse this trend as I believe I’m not done yet. Any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Fiona, I'm confused by my cycles which have been very irregular since our 20 week loss last May. This month I had several days of EWCM after my expected ovulation date. My period then came on time but is very light and TMI sorry, like one long string. I have been noticing these long stringy bleeds recently. Does this mean I'm not ovulating?

I found out that I did not ovulate this past cycle, which caused breakthrough bleeding. My fertility doctor tested my hormone levels and saw that my progesterone was very low. Any suggestions for what I can do naturally to build up my hormone levels so that this is not continuing every cycle?

Hi, i ve been ovulating between day 10 and 12 of an average 26 days cycle ; it is always confirmed by ovulation test so I believe I do ovulate ; is that too early or on par with my slightly shorter cycle ? And if earlier , what could it mean ?

Hi , I am wondering what conventional tests (blood/ultrasounds and over ) are needed for both men and women to help having a comprehensive review by a Chinese medicine practitioner and orientate appropriate treatment ? Thank you

Hi Dr Fiona, is it true that during the 2WW we should basically act as though we're pregnant just in case? I know that hot baths are to be avoided, but is it necessary to cut right down on caffeine? Is there anything that could actually aid implantation? Thank you 🥰

Hi Fiona, I wonder whether you know of a list of companies (UK) whose products don't contain endocrine disruptors? I'm thinking of body lotions etc. Hopefully there are products out there which are affordable and don't do us harm! Thank you 🥰

Hello Dr. Tassoni, I'm wondering what I should do to increase CM? I ovulate but my CM isn't much.

Hello! I have been tracking by BBT for the past months and I didn't noticed any peak this cycle. I'm 15 days in my cycle and my cycle usually last around 25 days. I had a positive ovulation test so I wonder what that could mean.

Hi Dr Fiona! I've been taking herbs, i.e. ashwagandha and turmeric curcumin. Are these safe to take in all phases of the menstrual cycle? I was reading somewhere that ashwagandha has some abortive properties if used in excess. But is also good for sleep and stress management, and sperm health. I'm also enjoying a super greens powder (ancient nutrition super greens) which we intend to use at least for 3 weeks, and it has a lot of herbs that are good for fertility. But needs to be checked by a medical practitioner if safe for pregnancy. It's really good though, my husband and I are enjoying it a lot. You're absolutely correct about a lot of things not on text book. Appreciate you sharing a lot of information to us! 😘

Hi Dr Fiona, Is there a way to know if I have healthy eggs? How does it manifest in my period or in a test? I recall Bert was mentioning that as long as it's in the ovary, it's pristine. And i also recall in the video trainings that it just decreases over time, but we'll never run out of eggs. I've been seeing a lot of supplements that boost egg quality or something.

How do I know if I'm producing enough cervical mucus? I produce some cervical mucus, but after my HSG, the first ovulation had PLENTY of CM, like 3-4x my regular CM.
