Quick Thursday Reflection + March Game Plan
Hey team, as we wrap up February, I want you to take 10 minutes today to reflect on your storefront and answer these three things in the comments:
- One thing you did right this month. Something you built momentum on
- One thing you could have improved
- One thing you are going to focus on in March
This matters more than most people realise.
Reflection sets the tone for execution.
Now, an important mindset shift for March…
For me and for anyone here already making sales, which is a lot of you, the main focus moving forward should be SPEND GOALS.
I know that word can make newer sellers uncomfortable.
And if you are not selling yet, your only goal right now is learning the process. Spend comes after clarity.
Most people are wired to think:
Spend equals bad
I need to make money before I buy more inventory
But one of the biggest limiting beliefs in Amazon is this:
You do not make money first. You buy profit.
There are only two variables that matter when scaling an Amazon business:
- Turnover time, how fast your money comes back
- ROI
Let’s simplify it.
Turnover time
• FBM is usually 2 to 3 weeks faster
• FBA averages around 45 days to flip capital
Last year my business ran at about 36 percent gross ROI across the year.
At a smaller scale, it is realistic to aim for 40 to 60 percent.
Once you know:
• your average ROI
• your average turnover time
There is only one thing left to focus on:
SPEND.
Because I know this with certainty:
If I spend 100K on inventory, I am buying roughly 36K in profit.
That is not risk. That is math.
I never thought I would be spending six figures a month either.
But the only way to hit the profit targets I want is to either spend more or make more per dollar spent.
Your action for March:
Set a clear spend goal.
Maybe it is $100 to prove the concept.
Maybe it is $1K to $3K as you build consistency.
Maybe you are pushing $4K to $10K per month and scaling hard.
There is no right number. Only intentional execution.
