If you’re here, you’re probably in the same spot I am. You know what you should be doing, but staying consistent is the hard part.
A few years ago, I was around 320 lbs. Using fasting and a mostly keto/carnivore style of eating, I got down to about 245 lbs (and briefly a bit lower). No surgery. No magic. Just controlling when I ate and being intentional about what I ate.
Then life happened. I drifted off plan. Some of the weight came back.
Now I am doing it again, and this time I am doing it in public.
One of the main reasons I am doing this is simple. I do not want to die early. I want to see my kids grow up. You do not see many old fat guys for a reason.
There is also the health side of this. My A1C was over 9. That is firmly in uncontrolled diabetes territory. After doing this, it came back down into the normal range without medication. I am not saying this is medical advice. I am saying this is what worked for me. If you are struggling with blood sugar and do not want to immediately jump to meds, this is at least something to look at and consider.
What I am offering here is not secret knowledge.
I am offering:
- A simple structure
- A repeatable plan
- And accountability
I have done this before. I know how it works. And I am doing it again right now.
This group exists for two reasons:
- I need the accountability
- And I know other people do too
If I am posting my meals, my fasts, my wins and my screwups, and you are doing the same, it is a lot harder for all of us to drift.
Some of you will just follow along. Some of you will follow the same plan. Some of you will want the accountability calls.
All of that is fine.
This is not a hype group.
This is not a motivation poster group.
This is a do the boring thing long enough for it to work group.
I am glad you are here.
Let’s get the weight off.
