🌾 Giving When You Feel Empty
The widow in 1 Kings 17 was ready to cook her last meal for herself and her son. She had nothing left to give. Yet when Elijah asked her for bread, she stepped out in faith—giving when it felt impossible.
And here’s the miracle: her flour and oil never ran out. God not only sustained her through Elijah, but He showed her that when you pour out, He is faithful to pour back into you.
Sis, maybe you feel like you’re running on fumes—your energy, your finances, your patience. But God has a way of using others to bless you, encourage you, and remind you that you’re not forgotten. And when people can’t reach you, He Himself becomes your Source.
🌱 Reflection:
Where in your life do you feel like you’re at your “last”? Can you trust God enough to give anyway and let Him refill you?
📖 Scripture:
“The jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah.” — 1 Kings 17:16
