Now yall know when God speaks to me I share it with you all. So you all know I was completely devastated about having to rebuild my email list. My newsletter and its subscribers are very dear to me just as you all are. So tonight’s reflection comes from the book of Ezra:
Family, one thing the Book of Ezra teaches us loud and clear is this:
when God calls you to rebuild, He also releases the favor, the instructions, and the people you need.
Ezra and the people didn’t wait for perfect conditions.
They didn’t wait for applause.
They didn’t wait for certainty.
They moved because God stirred their spirits — and their obedience opened the door for everything else.
Sometimes God will call you to rebuild parts of your life that were neglected, attacked, or torn down:
💜 your confidence
💜 your finances
💜 your creativity
💜 your discipline
💜 your faith walk
💜 your family rhythms
💜 your identity
And even when opposition shows up — just like it did in Ezra — God still finishes what He starts.
Your YES is your blueprint.
Your obedience is your groundbreaking moment.
Your faith is the tool that breaks every delay.
💭 Reflection:
Take a quiet moment and ask yourself:
1. What area of my life is God calling me to rebuild?
2. Have I been waiting for perfect conditions instead of moving in obedience?
3. What “first step” can I take today — even if it’s small?
4. Who is God sending to support my rebuilding season?
5. What old voices, doubts, or habits do I need to silence to stay focused?
Write your answers down — Ezra didn’t rebuild overnight.
He rebuilt brick by brick, and so will you.
