🟣 Wednesday — Obedience
Truth: Obedience is responding to what God has made clear, not managing the outcome.
Micro-Teaching: This is where things get real. You don’t need more information—you already know the next right step in a lot of situations. The tension comes in actually doing it. Not because it’s unclear, but because once you move, you can’t control how it’s going to land. That’s where people hesitate. They start calculating, adjusting, waiting for a better moment. That’s not a knowledge issue. That’s a trust issue.
You’ve felt that before. You know you need to have the conversation, make the call, address something directly, or step into something you’ve been avoiding. But your mind starts running ahead—how will they respond, what if it goes wrong, what if it creates more problems? Obedience cuts through that. You’re not moving because you can control it. You’re moving because it’s right. God is the source. You’re the one responding. Outcomes belong to Him. That’s what frees you to actually act without carrying the weight of what happens next.
Practice: Take one step today that you already know is right—without trying to manage the outcome.
Reflection: Where am I delaying obedience because I’m trying to control how it turns out?
Word of the Day:Obedience — responding to what God has made clear without controlling the results.
