Truth:
God often speaks before He sends.
Listening shapes faithful action.
Micro‑Teaching:
Our instinct is to move quickly—solve, respond, decide. Yet Scripture shows God forming people first through listening. Action without attentiveness easily becomes anxious striving or misdirected effort. Formation deepens as we learn to pause long enough to hear God’s wisdom, sense His timing, and notice what He is already doing. Listening is not passive; it is an active posture of trust that God has something to say before we move.
Practice (Today):
Before making a decision or responding to a task, pause for a moment.
Take one slow breath.
Ask God:
“What are You inviting me into right now?”
Reflection:
Where do you tend to act without listening?
How might slowing down change the quality of your obedience?
Word of the Day (teaser):
