Truth:
Peace starts returning when you stop trying to live above your creatureliness.
Micro-Teaching:
A lot of people spend their whole life fighting limits. Fighting weakness. Fighting dependence. Fighting the reality that they cannot control everything, fix everything, or carry everything. But being a creature is not failure. It’s reality. You need sleep. You need grace. You need God. Pretending otherwise is usually what’s making people mentally and emotionally exhausted in the first place.
Sin didn’t create dependence. Sin corrupted it. The problem is not that you need God. The problem is that pride keeps trying to live without Him while still wanting the peace only He gives.
Practice:
Let yourself be human today without trying to play God.
Reflection:
Where do I resist my own limitations instead of receiving them?
Word of the Day:Creatureliness — living as a dependent being instead of pretending to be self-sufficient.
