🟣 Sunday — Abide Without Striving
Truth:
God’s nearness is not earned through effort.
It is experienced through abiding.
Micro‑Teaching:
Sunday invites us into a different posture—not achievement, but communion. Scripture frames spiritual life not as constant output, but as remaining connected to God, like a branch to a vine. When we strive to prove our faithfulness, we drift from the very source of life. Formation deepens as we learn to abide: to stay, to dwell, to rest in God’s presence without agenda. Fruit grows naturally where abiding is practiced.
Practice (Today):
Set aside five quiet minutes.
Do nothing productive.
Simply remain with God.
Pray:
“I choose to abide, not strive.”
Reflection:
Where has striving replaced resting in your spiritual life?
What might it look like to remain with God today without pressure?
Word of the Day (teaser):
Abide — remaining connected to God with trust and rest.
