🟣 Monday — The Weight of Glory
Truth:
You were made to live under the weight of God’s reality, not the weight of being your own.
Micro-Teaching:
A lot of the heaviness people carry comes from trying to build an identity strong enough to hold their life together. You see it everywhere. People trying to prove themselves, secure themselves, reinvent themselves, defend themselves. It’s exhausting because the human soul was never built to carry that kind of weight.
Scripture says from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. Life starts making sense when it comes back underneath that reality. The pressure begins to break when you stop trying to be self-made and start receiving your life from God instead. There’s actually freedom in not being the center of everything.
Practice:
Notice one moment today where you start trying to prove yourself.
Reflection:Where do I keep trying to build myself instead of receiving life from God?
Word of the Day:
Glory — the weight and reality of God’s being revealed.
