Last month I actually celebrated quitting! I don’t mean to say that I celebrate the act of quitting, however, I do annually celebrate when I worked up enough strength to quit smoking!
In 2015, I was shocked into the reality of the frailty of life when I was told that my best friend had passed away suddenly!
The loss was gut wrenching and is still impactful and felt to this day, more than ten years later!
As I mourned and reflected on our friendship, I decided that I was going to remove habits that were the most detrimental to my health! Smoking was the top of the list!
I cannot even describe accurately how hard it was to quit!
But one of the methods I used to help me stay a non-smoker for the first year was a method I don’t think anyone else has ever used before!
Has anyone else tried quitting smoking before and succeeded? What was the most effective method you used to help you quit and remain a non-smoker? My method was buying term life insurance for $200,000 coverage! Feel free to drop comments on any methods that worked or didn’t work for you! And if you would like help quitting smoking, let’s chat and figure out some steps that get you heading in the right direction! Have a fantastic day!
