I remember graduating college and saying, “I’m never reading another book again.”
Of course, that was a lie -- I actually love reading 📚. But at the time, I was burnt out from cramming to graduate in three years (after dropping out and changing my major when I went back 😅). On top of that, hustling to find a job after graduation left little space for books.
It wasn’t until my late 20s, when I started traveling for work, that I picked up reading again. Flights became my classroom, and business and personal development books were my teachers.
That season sparked a decade-long journey of self-discovery, mastery, and a deep desire to keep growing.
These days, I mostly listen to audiobooks (I joke that I'm enrolled in Jeep University), but I also love taking classes and learning new skills. This weekend, for example, I’m in a real estate investing class diving into tax lien strategies.
It’s been fascinating and rewarding -- and it’s opening doors to new ways of expanding my real estate portfolio.
Anyway, I share this because I'm curious to see what you guys and gals are doing to keep learning and growing. Is there anything you've done recently to expand your horizons? I'd love to hear about it 👇
