We had an absolutely glorious time in worship at church yesterday.
So beautiful that the residue of His presence still abides.
This morning I made a decision.
I’m not running.
I’m not chasing.
I’m abiding.
Abiding isn’t passive. It’s deeply intentional.
It looks like whispering little prayers throughout the day instead of waiting until I have a “quiet time.”
It looks like protecting my peace when life tries to convince me that urgency is wisdom.
It looks like choosing obedience in ordinary moments. Even and especially when no one else sees it.
It looks like keeping God’s Word close enough that it shapes my thoughts before my emotions take over.
The world celebrates hustle and bustle.
Jesus invites us to remain. To abide.
Today, I’m choosing the invitation.
Not gonna strive. Not gonna force anything.
Not chasing what God has already promised to provide in His timing.
I’ll work.
I’ll serve.
I’ll show up faithfully.
But I’ll do it from a place of abiding, not anxiety.
🌿 Today let's ask one simple question:
Am I moving because God is leading me… or because I’m afraid if I stop, I’ll miss something?
“I am the vine; you are the branches… whoever abides in Me and I in him bears much fruit.” — John 15:5
