Hello, my name is Dante, I am a polyglot, and I am interested in learning new languages, learning about different cultures, and meeting new people!
At the Cambridge Advanced English exam (2016), I scored 197 points out of 210. Over the past nine years, I have lived in seven or eight countries, including the UK, London, where I have perfected my English, learned adages, idioms, etc., and got first-hand experience from dealing with thousands of Brits.
Most of us learn English with the purpose of landing a job, or improving our lives. Sure, writing is very important, but talking is the most important. In my lessons, we focus on talking by using a form of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) where we ask questions, such as: Why did you use "an" as opposed to "a?" What made you say "I must TO go" as opposed to "I must go?" Questioning and understanding the reasons you have (or sometimes don't have) when speaking will pave the way to one day you flying solo, not needing anyone's help anymore.
