In this final verse of Psalm 23, David celebrates the constant presence of God’s goodness, mercy, and unfailing love. As a child of God, you’re surrounded—literally followed—by His blessings every day.
You can expect favor, protection, and divine kindness in every situation. But you must also recognize the enemy’s tactics when bad things happen. Jesus clearly said that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, while He came to give abundant life (John 10:10 TPT).
Your role is to resist the devil, stand firm in faith, and enforce your inheritance by speaking God’s Word aloud. When you do, you activate the promises that goodness and mercy will continually pursue you.
Question to Ponder:
Am I expecting God’s goodness and mercy to follow me today—or am I allowing fear, doubt, or circumstances to dictate my expectations?
